Important advances in the treatment of
infertility in the male population have
been made through the application of the
technique of electroejaculation. Specially
designed rectal probes are used to electrically
stimulate nerves causing erection and
ejaculation so that semen can be obtained.
Erection and ejaculation occur in most cases
between 10 and 15 volts and 200 to 300 millamps.
The stimiulation period is approximately 3 to 4
minutes. Clinicians using the Seager EE equipment
report 100% success in obtaining an ejacualte.
It is now a medically recognized technique of
international importance. Many pregnancies and
births resulting from this electgroejaculation
technique have occurred in the United States and
other countries. This equipment is used widely at major heathcare
centers and universities in the United States, the UK,
Europe, Eastern Europe, Mediterranean countries,
Far East, Middle East, Australia and Africa. The
Seager electroejaculation equipment and techniques
were used in reporting the first published pregnancy
reports where the husband suffered from spinal cord
injury and the first published reports where the male
suffered from MS, RPLND,
insulin dependent diabetes, and idiopathic anejaculation.
